Analytics cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people visit the site and which pages they find useful. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to distinguish one visitor from another and to measure how long a visit lasts.
These cookies are not set unless you choose "Accept" on the cookie banner. Until you do, Google Analytics is loaded in a denied consent state and no analytics cookies are written.
The cookies Google Analytics sets are:
- _ga, set by Google Analytics to distinguish one visitor from another. Expires after 2 years.
- _ga_<container-id>, set by Google Analytics to keep session state for the measurement property. Expires after 2 years.
We do not use Google Analytics for advertising. Ad personalisation, ad storage and ad user data signals are all set to denied, and we do not run Google Ads, Facebook Pixel or any other advertising tracker.
Your consent choice
When you choose "Accept" or "Decline", we record that choice in your browser's local storage under the key cookieConsent. This is not a cookie and is not sent to us or to anyone else. It exists only so the banner does not reappear on every page.
Operational cookies
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set short-lived cookies for security and anti-bot purposes, for example a __cf_bm cookie. These are essential to the operation of the site and do not require consent under UK guidance.
How to change or withdraw consent
You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser's cookies and site data for sevenskillstutoring.com. The banner will then reappear on your next visit and you can choose "Decline".
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking cookies will not affect your ability to read the site or contact us.
